Userintuition: Web editing and design

About

Hello! My name is Li-Na and I'm the one behind the scenes at Userintuition. If you haven't already guessed, I am passionate about the Internet—you could even say I'm a self-confessed Internet freak.

I was first introduced to the Internet in 1993 at university and was immediately hooked. Even at that early stage, the Internet appealed to me because it fed my curiosity. All of a sudden, I could communicate frequently with others online, no matter where they were physically located. I gained extensive experience on numerous online forums and mailing lists where I 'met' strangers who had similar interests and who later ended up becoming friends. I learned about all sorts of fascinating things and new ideas. The Internet started becoming a large part of my life—I certainly couldn't (and still can't!) do without e-mail!

I found the Internet so intriguing that I wrote both my Undergraduate and Masters thesis on Internet culture and communication. I also led numerous workshops and taught classes about computers and Internet technologies (in hindsight, this was probably where I developed the knack of translating techie-speak into plain language!). When I was offered a job as a webmaster, it was the start of my adventure in web design.

Throughout all this, my belief has always been that the Internet should facilitate communication and information gathering. This forms the basis of my web design philosophy. Should you choose to work with Userintuition, this philosophy will be put to work for you, resulting in an attractive, informative and user-friendly website that serves your needs and successfully gets your message across.
